Astronomy Class is a Main Quest in Hogwarts Legacy. Astronomy Class has the player attending one of the classes at Hogwarts and, once completed, unlocks Astronomy Tables. Main Quests are mandatory Quests that tell the main story of the game, and completing all of them will accomplish the completion of the game. Still, that doesn't mean that Subquests, Challenges and Collections are not important, as these quests grant very useful items as rewards for completion and also contain a lot of Lore.
Astronomy Class Hogwarts Legacy Walkthrough
Attend Astronomy Class
Fast travel to the Astronomy Class Floo Flame, located in the Astronomy wing. Start the quest once in position. You will have to use a telescope during the class, and bring it into focus. In order to do so, you have to move the right stick up and down until the stars are in focus.
Find Amit on the Lower Deck
If you haven't already, you will meet a Ravenclaw student called Amit Thakkar. Head back upstairs, inside and then downstairs to find him. He is incredibly passionate about Astronomy.
Follow Amit
Follow him to get near the location of the Astonomy Table
Find the Astronomy Table
Enter the castle ramparts and when he asks you, lead the way by entering through the door on your right. Destroy the crates and continue advancing. Burn the web and open the door behind it to reach the Astronomy table.
From this moment on, Astonomy Table are unlocked. They are a new type of collectible that can be found throughout the world. Interact with it, and you will have to do the same you have done in the class. Align the telescope with the constellation.
After a short conversation with Amit, the quest will end.
Hogwarts Legacy Astronomy Class Information
I attended Astronomy class this evening and Professor Shah was displeased that I still don’t have my own telescope. Luckily, another student, Amit Thakkar, was nice enough to lend me his spare. Amit told me about an ancient Astronomy Table on the Hogwarts grounds. Once we had found it, I used the Astronomy Table to observe several hidden constellations. Amit was excited and said that I could keep his telescope. Apparently, more of these tables are hidden across the Highlands. I should keep an eye out for them.
