Crafting in Hogwarts Legacy gathers information about all the activities that a Wizard can do to obtain useful Items or ingredients. There are multiple stations where a Wizard can work at for different types of crafting. The horizon of craftable items expands as the player learns new recipes and gathers new materials, by buying them from Merchants, finding them on the wild, obtaining them as drop for defeating creatures or as reward for completing quests.
Potting Stations & Herbology
In these stations, Wizards are able to grow magical plants by using special seeds. Plants are categorized in different sizes, and each seed has an specific Growth Time until it becomes a Plant. They can be used as ingredients or as useful items with special properties, even during combat.
There are multiple types of Potting Stations for different types of plants that Wizards can work on. Players can build a Potting Station (or multiple Potting Stations) in the Room of Requirement.
Potion Stations
Wizards are able to craft Potions by mixing special ingredients at Potion Stations. Each potion needs a recipe, Wizards are not able to craft an specific potion until they learn the recipe for it. The ingredients can be obtained from the wild, from a merchant, or as rewards for completing quests. There multiple types of Potion Stations and Wizard can build them in the Room of Requirement.

Care of Magical Creatures
While exploring the wild, Wizards may encounter different type of special magical creatures that they can interact with. These beasts can be fed, entertained and trained. This way players can achieve obtaining animal ingredients without having to harm any creature. Some of these tasks can be automated by building a Beast Feeder in the Room of Requirement. And players can also build a Breeding Pen to breed two beasts and produce offspring.
Enchanted Loom
The Enchanted Loom can be used to upgrade the stats for the Wizard's gear, by using certain materials such as Jobberknoll Feather, Niffler Fur or Toad Warts. The Enchanted Loom menu shows a top of 3 upgrades per gear. Wizards can also add magical traits to their Gear, but the Wizard need to discover those traits to be able to, and also requires materials such as Puffskein Fur.
Identification Station
Pieces of Gear can be used here in order to detect the traits contained in it and gain adittional information. It is not known what other types of items or how far it can be used here to gain additional information from Magical Items or even quest items.
The Room of Requirement
The Room of Requirement is a Location used as a Safe Zone, fully customizable by the player by spending moonstone. Every piece of furniture, the stairs, even the roof and almost every other detail can be customized. Here the player is also able to add all sorts of Stations. Multiple types of Enchanted Loom, Potting Stations, Brewing Station, Feeding Station, Breeders, etc can be added here by spending Moonstone. Tamed Beasts can also be located here. All types of crafting can be done in the The Room of Requirement.
A recipee of conjuration is required to create every piece of furniture, station, installation or facility augment. Once the recipee is obtained Players only need to spend moonstone to build taht piece in the Room.
Ingredients in Hogwarts Legacy are a resource that can be found throughout the Wizarding World. Players are able to collect them, and they are a vital part of the game, as they allow players to Craft or create useful Items.
