The Daedalian Chests will be used to open or access your House Chest in the common room. You'll need to find every one of the 16 Daedalian Keys if you want to access the House Chest in your common room.
How to Open the Daedalian Key Cabinets in Hogwarts Legacy?
You must locate the adjacent flying Daedalian key, track it to the cabinet, and jam it into the lock in order to open the Daedalian key cabinets. The likelihood of a Daedalian key being close by increases if you come across a location with a locked cabinet. Keep an eye out for little wings flapping about like you would expect a snitch to. To aid in your search for the bell sign denoting a nearby concealed object, you can optionally enable the Audio Visualiser in the accessibility area of the settings menu. When you find it, the key won't immediately start flying to the closed cabinet, so go as close as you can. Keep an eye on where it flies off to because they often weave between stairwells to attempt to trick you. Once it does, you can interact with it there on the cabinet. At the end of the quest, you'll be advised that you need to find 15 additional tokens in order to open the chest when you place the token in your chest.

Astronomy Tower - 1st Daedalian Key
The Astronomy Tower is where you can find the first Daedalian Key. Being a part of the Daedalian Key quest, you are guided there, making it quite simple to find.
Astronomy Tower - 2nd Daedalian Key
On the floor below the Defense Against the Dark Arts classroom, close to the skeleton, is where you can locate the second Daedalian Key. The cabinet is there if you follow it up the stairs and around to the left.
The Great Hall - 3rd Daedalian Key
Go through the two doors on the right-hand side of where you spawn. After there, turn right down the ridgeway and descend the stairs on your right side. The key is located close to a statue. You can find the chest if you follow the key a bit more going down.
The Great Hall - 4th Daedalian Key
The Great Hall's immediate vicinity contains the fourth Daedalian Key. When you arrive to The Great Hall Floo site, leave through the first two doors to enter the entry hall. The key will appear hovering in front of your face before vanishing just below the stairs and into the Chest to the right.
The Great Hall - 5th Daedalian Key
The Great Hall contains the 5th Daedalian Key. Look over to the fireplace on The Great Hall's left side as you enter the Floo spot. The key will then fly up some stairs behind where the Floo spot is located. You'll eventually reach the chest while going up the stairs.
The Bell Tower - 6th Daedalian Key
Fast travel to the Bell Tower Courtyard and then turn left up the first set of stairs, this will lead you to the sixth Daedalian Key. The Daedalian Key will appear before you and it will fly up the stairs behind you. Find the key by going to the top of the stairwell. Once you reach the top of the stairs, you'll find the Key flying next to the Chest.
The Bell Tower - 7th Daedalian Key
The Dungeons contain the seventh Daedalian Key. Through the courtyard of the Bell Tower, you can access the Dungeons. For the last key, go downstairs rather than upwards. In front of the big dragon statue is the key.
The Bell Tower - 8th Daedalian Key
The easiest to find within the group of Daedaliann keys, the Eighth Daedalian Key is located down the hall from the last one (7th key); just follow it around the bend.
Library Annex - 9th Daedalian Key
The ninth Daedalian Key will have you chasing it down the stairs and down the hallway right outside the Potions classroom. The chest will also be there right outside the Potions Classroom.
Library Annex - 10th Daedalian Key
The potions classroom is located in the central hall on the other side of the corridor from the tenth Daedalian Key. On a bench, some pupils are seated. Then the Daedalian key will lead you to the chest next to a puzzle door.
Library Annex - 11th Daedalian Key
In the library, by the fireplace on the left side, is the eleventh Daedalian Key. It will lead you to the left side of the Library to the Chest.
Library Annex - 12th Daedalian Key
From the spawn location in the Central Hall, go left and up the stairs. To your right is another set of stairs, but do not go up. Check the back of those stairs to find the Daedalian Key. Follow it back down the stairs until it turns right to the Chest.
Grand Staircase - 13th Daedalian Key
Near the top of the Grand Staircase is where you can find the thirteenth Daedalian Key. Run down three flights of stairs to the Grand Staircase tower, where you can see it flying around.
South Wing - 14th Daedalian Key
From the spawn area at the Faculty Tower in South Wing, look to the right and head straight through the hall. you'll find a door to the right which leads to a set of stairs going up. Go up one set of stairs and a round staircase. At the top, turn left and you'll come across a picture hall. Cross the hall and you'll find the key. You can gain access to the Faculty Tower during the main quest, The Caretaker's Lunar Lament, where you'll learn Alohomora from the school's caretaker, Mr. Gladwin Moon.

South Wing - 15th Daedalian Key
Beyond the prefect's restroom and farther down the Hospital Wing steps from the previous key is the fifteenth Daedalian Key. The Chest is located next to the bottom of the stairs. You can gain access to the Faculty Tower during the main quest, The Caretaker's Lunar Lament, where you'll learn Alohomora from the school's caretaker, Mr. Gladwin Moon.

South Wing - 16th Daedalian Key
The sixteenth Daedalian Key, which needs Alohomora, is next to the dueling area. You can get to that area by fast travelling to the South Wing in The Clocktower Courtyard Floo Flame. Head up the stairs once you unlock the door to find the Daedalian Key will lead you to the chest which is located further up the stairs from where you found the key. You can gain access to the Faculty Tower during the main quest, The Caretaker's Lunar Lament, where you'll learn Alohomora from the school's caretaker, Mr. Gladwin Moon.
