Interior Decorating is a Side Quest in Hogwarts Legacy. Side Quests are not required to advance in the main story of the game, but still completing these Quests can be useful to obtain Rewards for completing them. These quests sometimes serve as tutorials for new activities and may contain some Lore or background of the Harry Potter Universe.

Speak with Professor Weasley
Simply approach Professor Weasley in the Room of Requirement; she wants to help you arrange the space.
Gather Moonstone
A total of 15 moonstones are required. Moonstones can be obtained by using Evanesco to vanish objects inside the room, and you can also discover them outside of Hogwarts because they are a rather common substance.
Return to Professor Weasley
Before you have enough Moonstones, visit Professor Weasley; if you already had x15 Moonstones when the quest began, just speak with him one again.
Conjure wall decorations
Place any objects you desire on the wall by casting the Conjuring spell and choosing "Room of Requirement Artwork." The identical thing may appear five times.
Conjure floor decorations
Conjuring the desired items, choosing "Decorations," and casting the spell. The identical thing may appear five times.
Speak to Professor Weasley in the Room of Requirement
Talk to Professor Weasley once all the decorations have been installed. You are about to learn the Altering Spell.
Alter the style of an item
Cast the Altering Spell, choose a different image, and aim at whatever artwork you had earlier.
Change the color of an item
Cast the Altering spell while aiming at any item you put during the "Conjure floor decorations" step, then use the designated controls to choose a new color.
Adjust the size of an item
To adjust the size, aim at any painting you already put, cast the Altering Spell, and then use the designated controls. Combinable with "Alter the style of an item," this option allows you to choose a different image using the settings mentioned above while modifying the size of the item.
Alter the balcony or the floor of the room
Cast the Altering Spell and choose any choice by aiming at the floor or the balcony above you.
Speak to Deek
Cast the Altering Spell and point it towards the ground or the balcony above you while selecting any option.
