Phoenix Rising is a Side Quest in Hogwarts Legacy. Side Quests are not required to advance in the main story of the game, but still completing these Quests can be useful to obtain Rewards for completing them. These quests sometimes serve as tutorials for new activities and may contain some Lore or background of the Harry Potter Universe.

Speak with Deek
Look for Deek inside The Room of Requirement and speak with him.
Search for the cave
At the Phoenix Mountain Cave at Poidsear Coast, the cave is situated in the southeast. To get there, use your broom or fast travel, then go into the cave.
Search for the phoenix
When you come to a wall that you can climb, continue straight southeast along the trail. Climb it, then follow the poachers into the tunnel. After eliminating the poachers, continue east until you come to a room with metal construction. Along with defeating the poachers there, proceed into the tunnel leading to the vault entrance. On the other side, there will be a Phoenix.
Reach the peak of the mountain
Enter the tunnels and climb the ladder to the west. Up until you come to a cavern with a ladder, continue on the way straight east. Follow the path that climbs the mountain after climbing the ladder. Get rid of the spiders and poachers you come across. Use Bombarda on the rocks to the east of the poachers' cavern to disclose a route. The Phoenix is perched on a rock at the mountain's summit; continue up that trail to get there.
Reach the peak of the mountain
To save the Phoenix, use the Nab-Sack. You shouldn't have any issues with it.
Return to the Room of Requirement
Travel quickly to The Room of Requirement by heading down north to the exit for Poison Coast. This will start a cutscene, ending the quest.
