San Bakar's Trial is a Main Quest in Hogwarts Legacy. San Bakar's Trial becomes available after completing Lodgok's Loyalty. Main Quests are mandatory Quests that tell the main story of the game, and completing all of them will accomplish the completion of the game. Still, that doesn't mean that Subquests, Challenges and Collections are not important, as these quests grant very useful items as rewards for completion and also contain a lot of Lore.
San Bakar's Trial Hogwarts Legacy Walkthrough
Go to the Map Chamber
Fast travel to the Map Chamber and head to the quest marker.
Speak with Professor Fig
Access the Map chamber and talk to Eleazar Fig.
Meet Professor Fig at San Bakar's Pensieve Chamber
Use the nearby floo flame to reach the next quest marker.
Find the Clue to open the Pensieve Chamber
Cast Revelio, and then Confringo on the ivy on the wall to reveal the clue.
Search for the Lord of the Shore
The next quest marker will appear all the way to the south, head there.
Enter the Graphorn's Den
Keep advancing to the next quest marker.
Subdue the Lord of the Shore
Fight the Graphorn. You can rely only on Damage Spells, since all the other spell types don't have any effect on it. Use Ancient Magic attacks as soon as they are available.
Once the Graphorn is defeated, kneel when prompted. This will unlock the Graphorn as a mount.
Return with the Graphorn to the Pensieve Chamber
Head to the pensieve chamber while riding your new mount. Once you stand on the platform, the Graphorn will open the door.
Witness the Pensieve Memory
Dismount and enter the Chamber. You will unlock a cutscene with San Bakar as you keep advancing.
Head to the pensieve and interact with it to see a bakar's memory.
Use the Magical Passageway
Approach the door and use it to get back to the Map Chamber.
Speak with the Keepers
Head to the keepers' portraits to speak to them. This will finish the quest.
Hogwarts Legacy San Bakar's Trial Information
I met Fig at the location revealed to us by Professor Bakar’s portrait. We deduced that only a Graphorn could open the passage to the Pensive chamber. I found a Graphorn called the ‘Lord of the Shore and tamed the terrifying beast. I rode it to the chamber and its presence unlocked the door. Inside, San Bakar’s Pensive memory revealed the terrible truth: Isidora was experimenting on Hogwarts students. The Keepers confronted her and the resulting battle killed her. I returned to the Map Chamber and the Keepers said I have the materials to build a unique wand that will open the final repository. I am to ask Mr Ollivander to construct the wand. Is this the beginning of the end?
