There's a Trophy listed below: Finishing Touches. This trophy requires you to use Ancient Magic on "every enemy" in the game. The trophy does not technically require you to use Ancient Magic on -every- enemy, it only requires to be used against every enemy TYPE. But still, not every type, as there are about 70 types of enemies, only 34 of them count for the trophy. Still, use ancient magic against every new type of enemy you encounter. Ancient Magic becomes available on Welcome to Hogsmeade quest.

According to Kelly Murray, lead designer on Hogwarts Legacy, completing ONLY the main story will take about 40 hours. While, if you are willing to do everything possible, you are in for about 120 hours.

Avoid abusing Fast Travel

Hogwarts Legacy allows you to use Floo Flames to fast travel to many locations of the game. Every time you learn a new spell, it's an opportunity to find many missed treasures, find secret chests, unlock doors, or solving puzzles that may require a spell you didn't have at the moment you first explored certain area.

Abuse the Revelio Spell

Revelio is your best tool to find Collectibles, Secret Chests, Puzzles, etc. The Revelio spell will fully reveal invisible items only when you are close to them, but if you are not close, it will hint you where invisible objects are, to then approach and successfully cast it. It will also mark with Blue (Quest Related) and Yellow (Non-Related to Quest), every item that you can interact with around you.

Cast it oftenly, everytime you enter a new area, every room, and look in every direction after you cast it to avoid missing anything.

Completion of the Hogwarts Legacy

Completing the story will unlock access to almost every location in the map. Learning all the Spells will make it possible for you to solve every puzzle required to get new Collectibles. Completing all Side Quests is required for The Good Samaritan trophy, but completing these, is good for the completion of many available challenges. Hogwarts Legacy generally rewards the player with Collectibles by completing any type of Side Quests and Challenges.

It is better to complete the game story (Main Quests), learn all Spells and complete all Side Quests. And then get the remaining Trophies, but remember to always use Ancient Magic against every new enemy type.

Trophies Overview

Hogwarts Legacy does not have difficulty associated trophies, so players can obtain them all at story difficulty. The game has 4 different trophies regarding the map chamber. This may be troublesome because you have to find the map chamber while being part of one of the 4 houses of Hogwarts (Gryffindor, Slytherin, Hufflepuff, and Ravenclaw), leading up to at least 4 partial playthroughs to unlock all of them.

The Missable Trophies correspond to reaching the Map Chamber with each House. As the player can only choose 1 house per playthrough, as the house cannot be changed once it's chosen. However, these Trophies can be obtained 'early' within about 2 hours of gameplay by skipping unnecesary quests and cinematics.

All Collectibles in Hogwarts Legacy

For the Collector's Edition trophy: Most Collectibles are obtained by completing Main Quests and Side Quests, remember to obtain your rewards for completing Challenges. Enemies will also drop some of the common Collectibles. The Collections ingame menu counts the following Collectibles:
