Welcome to Hogsmeade is a Main Quest in Hogwarts Legacy.Welcome to Hogsmeade is the quest that will send you in your first trip to Hogsmeade to get all your starting equipment needed for your studies at Hogwarts. Main Quests are mandatory Quests that tell the main story of the game, and completing all of them will accomplish the completion of the game. Still, that doesn't mean that Subquests, Challenges and Collections are not important, as these quests grant very useful items as rewards for completion and also contain a lot of Lore.
Welcome to Hogsmeade Hogwarts Legacy Walkthrough
During Weasley After Class quests, Professor Weasley lets you choose which of your current Companions you would like to go with on your trip to Hogsmeade. This choice obviously affects this quests as your Companion will be the one that you chose. For this quest, your companion will be referenced as 'Your companion'.
Meet your Companion near the entrance to Hogwarts
Track your quest from your Quest Menu to know better your path to your companion's location from wherever you are.
Follow your Companion to Hogsmeade
Run with your companion while you speak with them. The way may seem long but it's still at walking distance. You can gather items and make some lateral exploring, your companion will wait for you.
In the way, you'll meet Gladwin Moon, who seems to be a bit drunk, and have a conversa. He says to beware of Demiguises.
Continue your way until you reach Hogsmeade. The 4 following objectives can be completed in any order. It's recommneded that you use the map to know where to go as these objectives cannot be tracked.
Visit Tomes and Scrolls
Go to Tomes and Scrolls and talk to Thomas Brown.
You can buy supplies at 0 
Cost, so don't worry if you don't have any money. If you are interested in something available at stock, you may come back later and buy it. It is most recommended to start with the Potting Table with a Small Pot Spellcraft and the Small Potions Station Spellcraft as they are free.
Visit Ollivanders
Go to Ollivanders and talk to Gerbold Ollivander. He seems to already know about you, as he was expecting you. This scene is very similar to Harry Potter's visit to Ollivanders, as Ollivander gives you several wands for you to try, causing some chaos in the store with all the wrong wands until you get the wand that chooses you. Next you will be given a short customization menu of your wand.
You can shape it and paint it however you want and give it the texture you want. Choose the Wood Type, Length and Flexibility, and also the Wand Core. You can then customize your wand with handles from your pause menu.
Visit J. Pippin's Potions
Go to J. Pippin's Potions and talk to Parry Pippin,
He will give you 2 recipes for free. One for the Wiggenweld Potion, and the other for the Edurus Potion. You can buy any other items if you're interested or come back later.
Visit The Magic Neep
Go to the Magic Neep and talk to Timothy Teasdale. Get the Dittany Seed for free. You can buy any other item you are interested in or come back later.
Meet your Companion at the Town Circle
Go back to your companion and talk to them. During a short chit-chat, a few Trolls will appear causing chaos in the Town. The first will leave distracted by other wizards, dodge their charging attack by pressing the indicated button at the moment the Armoured Troll charges at you.
Defend Hogsmeade
Fight against the troll, remember to dodge when indicated in the screen. The troll is very resistant, but it's very easy to dodge, so keep attacking it until it's defeated. When it's health bar goes to 0, you will be able to Invoke Ancient Magic as a finisher.
Repair the Damage
Ruth Singer, will be back after defeating the first troll and will ask you to help her repair the daamge caused by the trolls. You must explore the town and find the 7 places where the trolls caused damage, cast Reparo to repair the damage. The damage is highlighted so it's easy to find.
Speak to the Shopkeeper
Talk to Augustus Hill. He is willing to reward you with a piece of gear, as gratitude for resoring the village. The game will introduce you to the Gear mechanics. You can then buy other Gear from him whenever you want.
Follow your Companion to the Three Broomsticks
On your way, you will hear a conversation between Ranrok and Victor Rookwood who seem to be the ones that planned the Trolls attack. To avoid getting caught, you and your companion flee, and hide in the Three Broomsticks. You will talk to Sirona Ryan, the bartender, to then be interrupted by Victor Rookwood who seems to have followed you there, with his right hand Theophilus Harlow. Sirona and the people in The Three Broomsticks Inn quickly jump in and defend you, as they recognize you from fighting the Trolls. And Victor decides to leave.
Talk to your Companion outside the Three Broomsticks
Your companion will leave by walking out, follow them. Your companion will insist on coming back to the castle. Fast travel to the common room as the they day is over.
Hogwarts Legacy Welcome to Hogsmeade Information
Welcome to Hogsmeade is an introduction to Hogsmeade and all the stores you can access there.
During this quest, you become able to cast Ancient Magic. If you are trying to earn all the Trophies in the game, mind that there's an achievement for a Trophy called Finishing Touches that consists in defeating every type of enemy with Ancient Magic.
