Care of Magical Creatures in Hogwarts Legacy is one of the activities available for Wizards in the Room of Requirements. Wizards can interact with Magical Creatures found in the wild, to then breed them to produce offspring by taking them to the Room of Requirements.
What Beasts can be Tamed in Hogwarts Legacy?
All sorts of Magical Creatures can be found while exploring the wild lands surrounding Hogwarts and the nearby villages. Magical Creatures respond to an approaching Wizard in many possible ways depending on the common behavior of each creature kind. Some creatures will attempt to flee, others may become hostile towards the Wizard or they may become friendly and accept to be tamed by the wizard.
To Tame Magical Creatures, first, players must recognize a Domesticable one. This is easy as domesticable creatures appear on the minimap with an icon of a paw when the player is roaming closeby. The Wizard must approach them with the correct behavior, offer the correct type of food, or do whatever that specific creature requires to accept being tamed.
After a successful approach, the creatuve can be taken to The Room of Requirement.
Tame of Magical Creatures in Hogwarts Legacy
Once the Magical Creatures are approached by a Wizard successfully and added to The Room of Requirement, they will require their master to play with them, feed them, and even train them. Players must take frequent care of the creatures brought to the Room of Requirements. The task may seem time consuming at first as almost every step must be done manually by the Wizard, but after gathering some Moonstone, Wizards can spend it in The Room of Requirement to get Beast Items, such as a Breeding Pen that can be used to breed two beasts, a Beast Feeder to keep your beasts fed or a Beast Toybox that wizard can use to play with these beasts. This way beasts will grow with needing the Wizard constant attention.
Magical Creatures Rewards In Hogwarts Legacy
By keeping good care of tamed Beasts, Wizards will obtain rewards such as specific ingredients that can be used to brew new Potions or craft magical items.
Breeding in Hogwarts Legacy
Breeding is a confirmed feature but there's very little footage available yet to understand the detailed mechanics of Breeding.
