In the Shadow of the Relic is a Side Quest in Hogwarts Legacy. Side Quests are not required to advance in the main story of the game, but still completing these Quests can be useful to obtain Rewards for completing them. These quests sometimes serve as tutorials for new activities and may contain some Lore or background of the Harry Potter Universe.

Talk to Ominis at the catacomb
Ominis and Anne are waiting for you at the catacomb entrance in the Feldcroft Region.
Follow Sebastian
Sebastian will be waiting for you inside the catacomb. To get to the opposite exit, follow him through the catacomb.
Talk to Sebastian
Once out of the Catacombs, talk to Sebastian. You will get two conversation options:
- No-one should know that curse
- Everyone should be aware of that curse.
This is your one chance to learn Avada Kedavra, so choose accordingly.
Regarless of your choise, Sebastian will then ask you to meet him in the Undercroft.
