In the Shadow of the Mine is a Main Quest in Hogwarts Legacy. In the Shadow of the Mine __shortdescription__. Main Quests are mandatory Quests that tell the main story of the game, and completing all of them will accomplish the completion of the game. Still, that doesn't mean that Subquests, Challenges and Collections are not important, as these quests grant very useful items as rewards for completion and also contain a lot of Lore.

Meet Sebastian by the Overlook
Fly to the quest marker and wait until dark to talk to Sebastian Sallow.
Reach the entrance to the mine
Continue downhill to the mine and fight all the Enemies along the way. Once you are done, enter the mine.
Search for the Rune symbol
Continue through the tunnel. Eventually, you will reach an area with some Goblins to fight. Dispose of them, and use the nearby crate to reach the ledge near the next quest marker. Use Wingardium Leviosa to move the crate.
Slide down the slope to reach a new area, and use Reparo on the destroyed bridge to repair it.
Spiders will appear as you move along, fight them and continue down the tunnels. You can look around to find a few chests. Once you are done, head through the next quest markers.
Defeat the Enemies
A group of Enemies will block your path, defeat both Goblins and Spiders.
Investigate the Cavern
Use Revelio to highlight the area. You will find two of the three rune switches covered in spider web. Use a fire spell to release them. Use Basic Cast to hit all three of them and open the door.
Explore the Chamber
Enter the chamber and explore it to find Isidora's Journal Entry 3/7 and the Triptych canvas piece from the chest.
Check on Sebastian
Head towards Sebastian and talk to him.
Use the magic Passageway
Interact with the magic passageway to return to the Undercroft, at Hogwarts.
Place the Portrait into the Triptych
Place the canvas piece into the triptych.
Talk to Sebaastian
Talk to Sebastian Sallow to finish the quest.
Hogwarts Legacy In the Shadow of the Mine Information
Sebastian met me at the Overlook Mine. He realized it’s the location depicted in the triptych. We had to fight our way through the mine, past spiders and Loyalists, until we found a room with a sealed chamber. Once we cleared the webs, we discovered runes on the wall that matched the note from the triptych, as well as a journal entry and another canvas. I told Sebastian that I’d been working with Lodgok. He was enraged, unable to see that not all goblins are like the ones that cursed Anne. I’m afraid I must continue without his help.
