Cressida's Diary is a Quest Item in Hogwarts Legacy. Quest Items are Items that are obtained during Quests and used to complete Quests. Some of these are used for multiple Quests, as some items remain in your inventory even after the quest where the item is obtain from, is over. Quest Items cannot be sold. Many Quest Items, disappear from the players inventory after used.

Hogwarts Legacy Cressida's Diary Information
Cressida Blume casted the wrong spell with the idea of making her books lighter, but ended up making her books fly around the Library. She asks you to collect hese books, being 4 books and the 5th one is her diary. When you collect the diary, you are able to read it. You can then return all her books to her peacefully, or you can try to extort her not to tell about the contents of her diary.
In her diary she complains about Garreth's behavior during class, saying she suspects that if Garreth wasn't Matilda Weasley's nephew, then he would have been expelled from Hogwarts.

Found flying around the Library on Hogwarts during Flying off the Shelves along with Cressida Blume's books.
