Floo Flames | Hogwarts Legacy Wiki

Floo Flames are the Checkpoints of Hogwarts Legacy. Floo Flames also acts as fast travel shrines players will encounter as they explore the Wizarding World, it is the game's fast travel system that is also a vital element in progressing through the story and discovering area. Players would need to manually unlock each Floo Flame location. Undiscovered Floo Flames will be indicated with the white floo flame icon on the map  and when players get within range of a floo flame, the floo flame icon will turn to green.

 

Floo Flames Information in Hogwarts Legacy

Floo Flames are fast travel shrines that can be found throughout the game. They can be identified with the floo flame icon on the map  and in game, you will see a half bust statue of the inventor of floo powder, Ignatia Wildsmith, with a small bowl for the flame to light up below her sculpture. Once you approach an undiscovered Floo Flame, it will activate and a green flame will be lit. Ignatia Wildsmith will also give a random remark as you discover or fast travel via Floo Flames.

Floo Flames Menu Options in Hogwarts Legacy

By opening the map, hover the cursor over any discovered floo flame then press the corresponding button to fast travel. Note that you cannot access fast travel when you are in engaged in combat.

Hogwarts

Floo Flame - The Astronomy Wing - Astronomy Tower

• Location: Found near the staircase of The Astronomy Wing in front of the classroom.

Floo Flame - The Astronomy Wing - Charms Classroom

• Location: Professor Ronen's Charms Classroom found east of the room. A Collection Chest is also nearby.

Floo Flame - The Astronomy Wing - Defence Against the Dark Arts Tower

• Location: Found at the tower across the bridge after exiting from the second floor of the Central Hall. The Floo Flame can be located at the right.

Floo Flame - The Astronomy Wing - Defence Against the Dark Arts Classroom

• Location: Found after going up the staircase in the Defence Against the Dark Arts Tower.

Floo Flame - The Astronomy Wing - Professor Fig's Classroom

• Location: From the Defence Against the Dark Arts Tower Floo Flames, go through the hall on the right, then go up the stairs. Turn left and the floo flame can be found beside the wizard's bathroom.

Floo Flame - The Astronomy Wing - Transfiguration Classroom

• Location: From the Transfiguration Courtyard, go to the right hand side and pass through the fountain, the floo flame can be found on the left side.

Floo Flame - The Astronomy Wing - Transfiguration Courtyard

• Location: From the Central Hall, exit through the giant door, the floo flame can be found just straight ahead.

Floo Flame - The Bell Tower - Bell Tower Courtyard

• Location: From the Bell Tower Courtyard, the floo flame can be found just as you enter the castle.

Floo Flame - The Bell Tower - Flying Class Lawn

• Location: From the Bell Tower Courtyard Floo Flame, go outside the courtyard then turn left and continue until you find the Flying Class Lawn Floo Flame on the left side.

Floo Flame - The Bell Tower - Beasts Classroom

• Location: From the West Tower Floo Flame, go outside and down the stairs, the Beasts Classroom Floo Flame can be found just straight ahead.

Floo Flame - The Bell Tower - Hogwarts North Exit

• Location: From the Bell Tower Courtyard, the Floo Flame can be found just as you exit, under the stone arch.

Floo Flame - The Bell Tower - West Tower

• Location: Go straight through the Pungent Passage and up the stairs, the floo flame can be found there.

• Location: Found against the column just beside the staircase.

• Location: Found in the alcove just past the Grand Staircase.

• Location: Found between the two Knight statues within the Slytherin Dungeon.

• Location: Found just beside the entrance to the Quad Courtyard.

• Location: Found at the end of the hallway that's connecting the Grand Staircase to the Ravenclaw Tower.

• Location: Found at the base of the stairs seen near the bridge.

• Location: Found on the wall on the right of the doorway.

Floo Flame - The Library Annex - Central Hall

• Location: From the Central Hall, go up the stairs where you see a portrait playing an instrument, at the left side is the Floo Flame.

Floo Flame - The Library Annex - Divination Classroom

• Location: From the Central Hall Floo Flame, go up the flight of stairs, once you see a giant wooden door, turn left and go up the stairs just in front of you, then you'll see a spiral staircase on the right side, go upstairs and you'll find the Floo Flame.

Floo Flame - The Library Annex - Greenhouses

• Location: From the Central Hall Floo Flame, go down the stairs and when you see the mermaid fountain, turn right and go through the green door. Then turn right and go down the stiars and go through another door. Just straight ahead on the left hand side you will find the Floo Flame.

Floo Flame - The Library Annex - Library

• Location: From the Central hall, you will see two doors just past the mermaid fountain, go through the doors, you will enter the Library and the Floo Flames just straight ahead down the end of the room.

Floo Flame - The Library Annex - Potions Classroom

• Location: From the Central Hall Floo Flame, go down the stairs and once you see the mermaid fountain, turn left and go down another stairs, turn left again and you'll see the Floo Flame at the right side.

• Location: Found beside the door after leaving the courtyard.

• Location: Found in the aclove across the One-Eyed Witch statue.
