Nerida Roberts is a Student in Hogwarts Legacy. Nerida Roberts is a member of House Slytherin who is fascinated by the Merpeople. Students can be found mainly throughout Hogwarts Castle, be it attending Classes, just chatting through the halls or riding their brooms in the outside area of the magic school.
Well, we've consistently deigned merpeople as being beneath us despite the many similarities between our cultures.
Oh, so many things. I want to know everything I can about them. After I've mastered swimming, I'd perfect my Mermish, of course.

- Nerida Roberts is a student at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. She is a young witch who was sorted into House Slytherin.
- Nerida is a kind and gentle young lady, which is a far cry from the resolute and dominant personalities commonly seen in Slytherin students.
- Nerida has a strong interest in the Merpeople, showing a keen understanding of their culture and a genuine concern for the lack of respect the surface dwelling wizards show them. She believes that they are as misunderstood and disregarded by wizardkind as the Goblins and Centaurs are. She hopes to one day become 'Liaison to the Merpeople', a position which does not yet exist, but one she is determined to make a reality. The only thing in her way is her inability to swim — a skill she is working on, along with improving her proficiency in Mermish.
- Nerida successfully made contact with the Merpeople, leaving them a gift which was quickly reciprocated with a gift of their own, left in a cave beneath the water for her. Unfortunately, as she is unable to swim, she was afraid the Merpeople would view it as her shunning their gift. Luckily, she happened upon the protagonist who offered to retrieve the artifact for her.
