Armored Troll (Boss) is a Boss in Hogwarts Legacy. Armored Troll (Boss) is the player's first encounter of an armored troll and can be found during the Main Quest Welcome to Hogsmeade. This IS NOT an optional boss. Bosses are extremely powerful hostile Npcs that can inflict destructive attacks and resist much more damage than normal Enemies. - Two Armoured Troll appears in Hogsmeade to wreak havoc. The first one is distracted by a Hogsmeade Officer, Ruth Singer. The other one appears shortly after, where the player and their chosen companion will have to battle.

Armored Troll (Boss) Fight Strategy
Before the start of the fight, a quick time event will appear on the screen where you'll need to dodge the Troll's running charge. This will serve as a tip in the future as it shows you can dodge out of attacks that are unblockable.
This boss will be fairly easy as it serves as a tutorial as well. Try to keep your distance, since the only way the Troll can attack you is if you're within their range.
The main way for the boss to close their distance to you is by performing a Running Charge. this attack is unblockable, you would have to dodge roll to avoid taking damage. Successfully dodging this attack will stun the Armoured Troll, making it vulnerable. Most of its attacks consists of swinging its club. When the Troll swings its club horizontally, it is an unblockable atttack. It's blockable attack is when the Troll lifts up its club and slams it on the ground.
Make use of your Spells while keeping your distance. Take advantage of the environment as well by performing Ancient Magic Throw to deal damage.
Once you reduce the Armoured Troll's health close to zero, a cutscene will occur and a quick time event will appear on the screen where you'll use Ancient Magic to finish off the troll.
