Theophilus Harlow (Boss) is a Boss in Hogwarts Legacy. Theophilus Harlow (Boss) is the right-hand man of Victor Rookwood and can be found during the Side Quest Harlow's Last Stand. This IS an optional boss. Bosses are extremely powerful hostile Npcs that can inflict destructive attacks and resist much more damage than normal Enemies. Theophilus Harlow (Boss) Fight Strategy

During this boss fight, you will also encounter other Ashwinder enemies in the area aside from Harlow. You will also be accompanied by Natsai Onai to help you fight the group.

To make this boss encounter easier, it is best to focus your attacks on Harlow and ignore the other Ashwinders, but still be wary of their attacks at the same time.

Harlow will often cast Protego and shield himself from your attacks, make sure to have different types of Spells slotted so you can easily break down his shield. You can also make use of the Ancient Magic Throw so you won't have to deal with spell cooldowns. Harlow will try to teleport if you spam him enough attacks, so it's best to cast Control Spells first like Levioso, Arresto Momentum, or Glacius to immobilize him and make him vulnerable for attacks. When your Ancient Magic meter is full, don't hesitate and use it immediately on Harlow to deal massive damage.

Harlow's attacks ranges from Basic Cast and other common spells, but he does use spells that are familiar but cannot be used in the game, like Reducto and Expulso. Also watch out when you see a ring of fire scorch the ground, flames will rise up and create a Flaming Vortex. This move is very telegraphed and can be easily dodged.

After defeating Harlow, you will go into a Wand Magic Duel where you'll have to spam the corresponding button shown on the screen.

Attack	Description	Counter
Levioso	Conjures a levitating spell that will make you vulnerable for a certain duration.	Dodge roll when you see the dodge prompt or block the attack. If you get hit, you can press the corresponding button that will appear on the screen to break free.
Expulso	Shoots out an explosive spell.	Dodge roll then counterattack.
Reducto	Shoots out a destructive spell.	Dodge roll then counterattack.
Flaming Vortex	Charges up the wand and conjures a flaming vortex rising up from the ground.	Once you see the ring of fire scorched on the ground, run away from it to avoid taking damage.
Protego	Creates a barrier to protect himself from incoming spells.	Use Ancient Magic Throw or cast a spell that matches that matches the color of his shield.
Basic Cast	Conjures basic casting spells that deal minor damage.	You can dodge roll or wait for the prompt to block it.
Wand Magic Duel	A button mash situation as the player goes against Harlow's Avada Kedavra.	Mash the corresponding button shown on the screen to win the duel.
