The Lost Child is a Side Quest in Hogwarts Legacy. Side Quests are not required to advance in the main story of the game, but still completing these Quests can be useful to obtain Rewards for completing them. These quests sometimes serve as tutorials for new activities and may contain some Lore or background of the Harry Potter Universe.
The Lost Child Hogwarts Legacy Walkthrough
Meet Natty in Lower Hogsfield
Natty is positioned next to the Lower Hogsfield Floo Flame fast travel point. To talk to her and start the mission, you must wait until it is daylight.
Speak with Mrs. Bickle
Behind Natty is Johanna Bickle. Speak with her.
Find Archie's hideout
After speaking with Mrs. Bickle, follow Natty going south to the hideout.
Search Archie's hideout
Once you reach the Hideout, search the hideout for clues.
Track Archie by casting Revelio
Use Revelio to locate Archie in the area.
Follow Archie's trail
Natty or the glowing footprint path will lead you southwest. When the glowing footsteps end, use Revelio once more.
Defeat the wolves
As you follow the trail, a group of Mongrels will attack you. Fend them off.
Investigate the area
Investigate the bag hanging from a tree as you move southwest.
Track Archie by casting Revelio
Cast Revelio once more and proceed southwest along the glowing footprints.
Follow Archie's trail
In the southwest, past the West Hogwarts Valley Floo Flame quick travel point, follow Natty or the path of glowing footsteps. When the glowing footprints stop, use Revelio.
Follow the trail
Up until you come across a bunch of Ashwinders, continue following Natty/the route down the path west.
Enter the Ashwinder's charmed tent
Defeat the nearby Ashwinders before going into the big tent in the center of the camp.
Find Archie Bickle
As you pass through the tent, take out the Ashwinders that you will encounter. On the lowest level in the northeastern corner of the tent, Archie is confined in a cage.
Unlock the cage
A Level 1 Lock is used to secure the cage. To open the cage, use Alohomora.
Speak with Archie
Once you free Archie, free him and start to interact with him.
Speak with Mrs. Bickle
Once Johanna Bickle has finished speaking with Archie, quickly return to Lower Hogsfield and engage her in conversation. This will mark the end of this Quest.
