Venomous Revenge is a Side Quest in Hogwarts Legacy. Side Quests are not required to advance in the main story of the game, but still completing these Quests can be useful to obtain Rewards for completing them. These quests sometimes serve as tutorials for new activities and may contain some Lore or background of the Harry Potter Universe.
Venomous Revenge Hogwarts Legacy Walkthrough
Talk to the muttering man behind the Three Broomsticks
Speak with Ackley Barnes by going behind The Three Broomsticks.
Find Alfred Lawley's Cellar
Locate the purple circle on your minimap and go there. The cellar's entrance is visible from the street and is in the open.
Find Lawley's Venomous Tentacula
Make yourself invisible with your Disillusionment spell so you can sneak by Lawley. Go to the door to the north that has a Level 1 lock. To open it, use Alohomora. While you're still undetectable, move to the area of the cave that is well-lit and free of spiders, then turn left as soon as you enter and up the stairs. In the room after the stairs, gather Lawley's Venomous Tentacula.
Return to Ackley Barnes
Continue to be invicible as you exit the building in order to avoid Lawley or the spiders noticing you. To finish the mission, speak with Barnes in the same location where you were given it.
