Venomous Valour is a Side Quest in Hogwarts Legacy. Side Quests are not required to advance in the main story of the game, but still completing these Quests can be useful to obtain Rewards for completing them. These quests sometimes serve as tutorials for new activities and may contain some Lore or background of the Harry Potter Universe.

Talk to Duncan Hobhouse
Track this quest from your Quest Menu to follow the quickest path to Duncan Hobhouse from wherever you are.
Duncan's Boggarts took the shape of a Puffskein during Dinah Hecat's class, he's being bullied about it. Rumour has it that dangerous plants are kept in the 'Hidden Herbology Corridor'. He asks you to go there and bring back evidence that he could use to show that he went in there and he is not a coward.
Find and enter the Hidden Herbology Corridor
Go to the garden in Hogwarts, find the big beehives. To the right, there's a stair that goes down. Go down, follow the wall until you find a corridor covered with vegetation. Cast Incendio to open the path and enter the corridor.
Obtain Proof for Duncan
The corridor is very linear, except for a couple of alternative paths that only leave to chests that contain gear. First you'll need to open the path covered by snakes by using Lumos.
Follow the way, destroy the obstacles. Until you find a Giant Venomous Tentacula, approach and collect a Giant Venomous Tentacula Leaf.
Return to Duncan
Go back, there's a ladder that takes you to the Greenhouses. Go back to Duncan. You can choose to give it to him or keep it, either way, the quest will count as completed once the conversation is over.
